Interesting approach. I am sure there is a range of emotions when it comes to becoming a parent.
I had my daughter while young and I am grateful for that.
Personally, I am desperate for another child. (Since we are being honest here.) And my emotions surprise me. Sure, I wanted more but I never thought I'd have this kind of longing.
Totally, agreed with not making motherhood the only part of our identity (although early years force it to be).
I believe kids are separate human beings and will have their own choices and approach which should be respected. The other day I came across an article on Medium that said something like Parents should be the guides, not dictators.
All in all, our experiences, observations, personalities, all play their part in our emotions and decisions.
It was interesting to hear yours. Thanks for sharing. :)
